What Is veMINT & How Staking Works

veMINT is what you receive when you stake (lock) your $MINT tokens. It stands for vote-escrowed MINT and it's your key to unlocking boosted rewards across the platform.

How It Works

  1. You stake your $MINT — Choose how many tokens to lock and for how long.
  2. You receive veMINT — This is a non-transferable token that represents your staked position.
  3. You get boosted rewards — Your veMINT balance gives you higher XP earning rates and better rakeback percentages while you play.

The more $MINT you stake and the longer you lock it, the more veMINT you receive — and the bigger your boost.

What Does veMINT Give You?

  • XP Boost — Earn more XP per bet, helping you climb ranks faster.
  • Rakeback Boost — Your rakeback percentage increases on top of your rank rate.
  • Bigger Daily Reward Share — Since your boosted XP is higher, you receive a larger portion of the daily reward pool.

What veMINT Does NOT Affect

To keep things fair, boosts from veMINT do not apply to:

  • Leaderboard rankings (everyone competes on equal footing)
  • Lossback percentages (these stay fixed to your level)
  • Rank-up milestone rewards
  • Streak rewards

Can I Transfer or Sell veMINT?

No. veMINT is tied to your account and cannot be transferred, traded, or sold. It exists purely to measure your staking commitment and calculate your in-platform boosts.

How to Start Staking

Once the $MINT token is live, you'll be able to stake directly from your account. Head to the Staking section, choose your amount and lock period, and your veMINT and boost will activate immediately.
