Mint.io is operated by Sage Shark Ltd, a company registered in Costa Rica. This Privacy Policy explains how Mint.io collects, uses, stores and shares personal data when you use Mint.io and related services.

This policy should be read together with the Terms & Conditions and Cookie Policy.


1. Data controller

Mint.io, operated by Sage Shark Ltd, acts as the data controller for personal data collected through the Website and Services.

2. Information we may collect

Depending on how you use Mint.io, we may process:

  • Identity and registration information, such as name, date of birth, nationality, account ID and display name
  • Contact details, such as email, phone number or linked social account information
  • KYC/AML information, including identity documents, proof of address, selfies or video verification, and source-of-funds/source-of-wealth information where required
  • Financial and transaction data, including cryptocurrency wallet addresses, deposits, withdrawals, transaction hashes, amounts, timestamps and network information
  • Technical and usage data, such as IP address, device, browser, operating system, approximate location derived from IP, session data and referral source
  • Gameplay and behavioural data, such as wagers, results, game choices, bonus use, reward activity and responsible gaming information
  • Communications, including support tickets, live chat, emails, complaints and feedback
  • Marketing and preference data, including opt-in or opt-out status and communication preferences

We do not request or store your wallet seed phrase or private key.


3. How we use personal data

We may use personal data to:

  • Create, authenticate and manage your account
  • Process deposits, withdrawals, gameplay and rewards
  • Verify identity, age, location and source of funds where required
  • Meet KYC, AML, licensing, fraud-prevention and sanctions obligations

5. Data sharing

Mint.io may share personal data with service providers needed to operate the service, including identity/KYC providers, payment or blockchain infrastructure providers, game providers, hosting, analytics, security and customer-support services.

We may also share information with regulators, law enforcement or professional advisers where required or permitted by law.


6. International transfers

Personal data may be processed outside your country. Where required, Mint.io uses appropriate transfer safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions or another legally recognised mechanism.

Public blockchain transactions can remain visible on the relevant blockchain independently of Mint.io's off-chain systems.


7. Data retention

Mint.io keeps personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or as required by law.

KYC/AML and transaction records may be retained for at least five years after account closure, or longer where required. Marketing data is retained until consent is withdrawn or the relevant legal basis no longer applies. Technical logs may be retained for security, fraud-prevention and operational purposes.


8. Security

Mint.io uses appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access controls and security measures appropriate to the information being processed.

No internet or storage system is completely secure. You are responsible for securing your linked email, social accounts, devices and crypto wallets.


9. Your rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request deletion where retention is no longer required
  • Restrict certain processing
  • Receive portable data
  • Object to certain processing, including direct marketing
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • Ask for information about automated decision-making where applicable

10. Cookies and tracking

Mint.io uses cookies and similar technologies for functionality, security, analytics and, with the required consent, marketing. See the Cookie Policy for more information.


11. Children

Mint.io real-money services are not available to anyone under 18 or under the higher legal gambling age that applies in their jurisdiction. If we identify an underage account, we may restrict or close it and take any action required by law.


12. Responsible gaming

Mint.io may process account and gameplay data to operate responsible gaming tools, identify potentially harmful patterns and apply interventions permitted under the Terms & Conditions.


13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our services or legal requirements change. Material changes may be communicated by email, on-site notice or another appropriate method.
