Understanding Mint Bucks (MBX)

What is MBX?

MBX (Mint Bucks) is Mint's in-platform reward currency. When you earn rank-up or daily rewards  — they're paid out in MBX.

MBX works like bonus credit: you can use it to place bets on any game, and any winnings from those bets are paid out in real money (USDT/USDC). However, MBX itself cannot be withdrawn directly — it's designed to keep you playing and give you more chances to win.

How MBX Works

• Bet with it — MBX can be wagered on any game across the platform, just like your regular balance.
• Win real money — If you place a bet using MBX and win, your profit is paid in real, withdrawable funds (USDT/USDC).
• Profit-only unlock — The MBX itself never converts to cash. Only the profits you win from MBX bets become withdrawable.
• Cannot be transferred — MBX stays in your Mint account. It can't be sent to other users, traded, or moved off-platform.

Example: You receive 500 MBX as a daily reward. You use that 500 MBX to bet on slots and win 800 MBX worth of payouts. The 300 MBX profit becomes available as real funds (subject to your level's unlock multiplier).

MBX Unlock Multiplier

To prevent abuse, MBX winnings have a playthrough requirement that varies by level. This means you need to wager a certain multiple of your MBX profits before you can withdraw them.

The higher your level, the easier it is to unlock your winnings. At level 10 and above, your MBX profits unlock at a 1× rate — meaning they become withdrawable right away.

MBX After Token Launch (Post-TGE)

Once the $MINT token launches, you'll have a choice each month for how you receive your rewards:

• Keep receiving MBX — Continue earning rewards as MBX bonus credit, just as before.
• Switch to $MINT (Cash Mode) — Receive rewards as liquid $MINT tokens, subject to a 3× wagering requirement before withdrawal.
• Switch to sMINT (Staked Mode) — Receive double the reward amount as staked $MINT, locked for 30 days. No wagering requirement — just a time lock.

You can change your preferred reward mode once per month via your Rewards Dashboard.

MBX Expiry

MBX balances may expire after a prolonged period of inactivity (typically 6–12 months of no login). If your account has been inactive for an extended time, you'll receive a notification before any MBX is removed — so make sure to check in regularly and put your rewards to work.
